Our planning studies studies are tailored to give you a realistic assessment of your fundraising potential, build internal consensus and serve as the campaign’s “soft launch” among your constituents. We will then partner with you to implement the campaign vision as your coach, thought partner and occasional thorn in your side to keep the campaign moving and make the inevitable adjustments needed along the way.
Development Audits and Plans
We will analyze your development operations to ensure the pieces are in place and that your staff resources are pointed in the right direction. Successful fundraising is built on an actionable plan with four key elements: case, prospects, cultivation and askers. We will work with your team to put these elements into a sequence for each donor level group.
Board and Volunteer Training
Volunteers can be a non-profit’s greatest asset or its greatest liability. Too often they don’t know their role, or we give them a role that scares them into inactivity. Choosing the right volunteers, and finding their unique gifts and strengths, is key to their ability to help move your development program forward and not be another set of bosses you report to.
Coaching
Development work is hard. It means dealing with rejection along with success. I will be your thought partner to keep your focus where it is needed, to listen to your struggles and to help you plan your next moves, whether it is building internal consensus, motivating staff or planning your next set of donor visits.
Interim Staffing
Keeping your fundraising program on track during a staff transition is critical. We will keep the fundraising wheels turning and conduct an internal assessment to hand off to the incoming professional to help her or him get off to a great start
